As we bring things to an end with our final installment of notes, we take a look at some more seniors that college programs should have on their radar.
New Life Christian Senior Wing Latrell Jones: He had a slower start to the day but seemed to pick it up and get going as time went on. His physique is something that gets the attention of college coaches almost instantly, he has a smooth jump shot and can be a very solid player when he’s locked in and aggressive.
71st HS Senior Wing Tre Bell: One of the more improved players in the area, he was a player that came in and filled in a spot for a player that didn’t show up. He can score the ball well from deep as he showed that as soon as he stepped on the court, knocking down back to back treys. Due to the fact that he played sparingly over his first few high school years, his recruitment has been a bit slow but overall he is one that is a late bloomer and picking up some interest.
Western Alamance Senior Guard Jadyn Neal: The natural feel that he has for the game is impressive, he does a nice job of reading his defender and finding the best way to attack. He can knock down shots from each level but also showed some unselfish throughout the day, putting some passes right on point for teammates.
Kipp Pride Senior Guard Tarik Adams: Another player that seems like he is wired to score the ball, D2 programs such as ECSU and WSSU have both taken notice of what he can possibly be. He has good size for a guard at about 6’3/6’4 and plays with a toughness that you have to love, some players like to compete and others hate to lose, he’s a player that seems to be a bit of both.
St. David’s Senior Guard Keonte Bradley: For those who have seen St. Davids play this season, you probably already know who he is. He can score the ball at a high level, has good athleticism as is tall enough to play both guard spots without much of an issue. We saw him give good effort on the defensive end and on some occasions he defended SF and PF’s that were taller but his versatility allowed him to do a nice job.
