#1 71st HS (26-4)-The Falcons take home the top spot as they not only defeated every team they faced in the county but also made the deepest run into the playoffs. Senior Forward BJ McLaurin would take home Conference Player of the Year honor with his play but it was a team effort without a doubt. 71st Senior Forward Xavier Howard, Wing Tre Bell and Guards Thomas Hendricks & Demauriea Nickelson were all named to the All-Conference squads.
#2 Westover (21-7)– As usual the Westover squad was one of the best defensive teams in the area and made a deep run in the playoffs, coming up one game short of the regional round. Junior Forward Traymond Willis Shaw and Senior Tyron George were two of the leaders that helped the squad play at a high level due to their scoring and defense. The Wolverines have some young talent as well in Sophomore Sharp Shooter Darius Jewell who had some big time shooting games this season.
#3 Pine Forest (19-7)– The Trojans season did not end how they wanted but they had some moments this year where they showed just how special they could be. Senior Miles Ray finished the season taking home conference player of the year honors after being one of the leading scorers and rebounders in the county.
#4 Terry Sanford (20-8)- The Bulldogs have a chance to be a very scary team next season as they return just about all of their roster. 2020 Guard Jay Hickman, Wing Yates Johnson, Forward Kyron Kelly and Freshman Davis Molnar are all players that you can expect to be in the rotation and making big time contributions.
#5 Jack Britt (11-14)-The Bucs had an up and down season with February being one of the tougher months for the squad. With quite a few seniors leaving there will be some holes next season but there are some bright spots for the team with Junior Wing Langston Davis returning as well Freshman 6’6 Forward Demetri Patterson who has plenty of upside.
#6 Grays Creek (10-14) 7.EE Smith (8-16) 8.Cape Fear (12-11) 9.Southview (2-22), 10.Douglas Byrd (3-18)
