Yuri Collins 5’11” St. Mary’s (’19) – The Saint Louis University recruit has literally willed a young St. Mary’s team to the Final Four with a spectacular postseason run. After scoring 37 points and handing out 10 assists in a blowout victory over Hillsboro in the sectionals, Collins followed up with 31 points in the Dragons’ victory over a very talented Cape Girardeau Central team in the state quarterfinals. Collins is averaging more than 30 points a game in the postseason.
Isiaih Mosley 6’6″ Rock Bridge (’19) – The standout wing player was dominant in the Bruins’ victory over Kickapoo in the state quarterfinals as he scored a game-high 29 points. Mosley was an unstoppable force on offense with his ability to handle the ball and score from all three levels. He will lead the Bruins into a return trip to the Final Four of the Class 5 state tournament.
Caleb Love 6’3″ CBC (’20) – The stellar junior guard turned in a big-time all-around performance in the Cadets’ 69-56 victory over Mehlville. Love scored a game-high 30 points, including four 3-pointers in the first quarter to get the Cadets rolling to an early 19-point lead. He also finished the game with five rebounds, four assists and four steals. His beautiful behind the back pass to teammate Josh Wallace for a slam dunk has gone viral on social media.
Javaunte Hawkins 5’10” Lee’s Summit North (’19) – The electric bucket getter from Kansas City scored a game-high 24 points in the Broncos overtime victory over William Chrisman in the Class 5 quarterfinals. Hawkins has been tremendous all season, but he has taken his game to another level in the postseason, especially when it comes to knocking down clutch shots when his team needs them the most.
Dajuan Harris 6’2″ Rock Bridge (’19) – The Missouri State recruit showed why he was one of the top point guards in the state with a big all-around performance in the Bruins’ 77-57 victory over Kickapoo. Harris had 20 points, six assists and seven steals has he dominated the game on both ends of the floor.
Patrick Schulte 6’4″ Francis Howell (’19): On a well-balanced team full of scorers, it was Schulte’s turn to shine in the Vikings’ victory over McCluer North in the Class 5 quarterfinals. The Saint Louis U. soccer recruit scored a game high 22 points and made seven of 11 from the field, including three 3-pointers.
Dre Sorrells 5’10” Grandview (’19) – The senior sharpshooter scored a game-high 19 points in the Bulldogs victory over Southeast in the Class 4 quarterfinals in a battle of two of the state’s top five ranked teams. A stellar 3-point shooter by trade, Sorrells has made a very nice transition to the point guard position as a senior, which came in handy with his ability to handle Southeast’s pressure defense.
