Zack Askew 2020 Braggs forward
Zack Askew does everything you want from an inside presence. He rebounds well, has a package of scoring moves, and plays defense well. Askew showed his toughness in the inside game on Thursday in a first-round exit to Kinta.
Gregory Biggs 2020 Big Pasture forward
Gregory Biggs is a versatile, tall, and strong inside player who can chalk up rebounds for his team. His size was unmanageable for the Lookeba-Sickles zone defense in the quarterfinals, especially, and he was able to have a big impact on the board game.
Fabian Orozco 2021 Lookeba-Sickles forward
Fabian Orozco played gritty, intense basketball on both ends of the floor in the quarterfinals. He boxed out, pulled down rebounds and fought on the defensive end. He helped to keep Big Pasture’s opposing inside scorers in check, especially. Offensively, he came up big in the clutch for the Panthers with late-game scoring to seal the win.
Jesse Porras 2019 Lookeba-Sickles forward
Jesse Porras was most important for the Panthers with his defensive versatility. Porras did an exceptional job at locking up opposing swingmen both in the paint and about the perimeter. Offensively, he was great at selecting shots and drawing fouls, refraining from wasting opportunities in the process.
