Benny Gealer (pictured) – one of the better jump shooters in the California Class of 2022 – helped lead Coach Harvey Kitani’s Rolling Hills Prep squad knock off Santa Clarita Christian in the 3AA finale.
Barrington Hargress – who has a chance to end up as one of the best point guards in the class – was instrumental in propelling Coach Reggie Howard’s Ribet Academy team to the Southern Section 4A and state D-IV crown.
Each was a third-team selection.
Players were chosen based upon their on-court accomplishments, not necessarily just “college potential”.
My first- and second-team selections – and choice for SoCal Freshman of the Year – will follow shortly.
