West Charlotte HS Senior Forward Patrick Williams: Of course this was not the way he envisioned his high school career ending but he has nothing to hang his head about and the fans at Florida State should be very excited about what he can bring to the table. He’s strong, athletic and skilled, plays the game with a high motor but always seems to be under control no matter the situation and circumstance. He is a player that can give you 30 points and 15 rebounds on a nightly basis so don’t be surprised to see him making a contribution at Florida State early on.
Farmville Central Senior Forward Dyquavis Wilkins: The progress he has made over the past year has been pretty impressive, he has improved in just about every asset which has only helped his stock. Rebounding, running the floor, blocking shots and knocking down shots from midrange are all things that he was able to do well.
South Central HS Senior Guard Cydney Williams: Another player that brings a nice amount of energy to the floor with his play on both ends. Defensive he is constantly applying pressure and doing whatever he can to force turnovers, while offensively we saw him slashing to the basket and making plays above the rim.
Forest Hills Senior Guard Jai Rorie: His three point shooting in the first quarter is what helped Forest Hills get out to an early lead. He knocked down multiple treys from the corner offensively and on the defensive end he put forth the effort that you love to see from a youngster, taking every matchup he was given personally.
West Charlotte HS Senior Guard Quinten Thomas: His athletic ability will get your attention almost instantly, he throws down alley-oop dunks and windmills with ease above the rim. He already has a physique that looks like he has spent a fair share of time in a college weight room and his numbers this season have been solid. At 6’3 with all the tools to be a very good guard, he is one that the right college will be happy to take off the available prospect board.
