1a. Sadraque Nganga SF 6’9″ AZ Compass Prep
Nganga is definitely one of the more unique players we have seen as a freshman in years. The Angolan prospect handles the ball like a guard and makes unreal passes to teammates. He plays way above the rim on the break and can take it off the glass, run the break and throw it down with his nice handle. He takes many 3pt shots during a game and makes a good percentage. He can pull-up off the dribble and score it. He defends on the perimeter and is a good rebounder inside. He isn’t a finished product but his upside is very high.

1b. Dylan Anderson PF 6’10” Perry
Anderson is probably the most skilled big I have covered as a freshman. He is comfortable from anywhere on the court shooting the ball off the catch. He almost plays like a two guard but is the new school classic stretch-4. He is starting to put the ball on the floor and create his own shot which will make him even more dangerous. Defensively he is tracking the ball well to block shots and rebounds in his area.

3. Foune Doucoure PF 6’7″ Liberty
Doucoure is a long and athletic player. He is already starting to hit the 3pt shot plus can throw down high above the rim. He is a true rim runner and seems to block anything near the rim. He may be ahead of the top two with his shot blocking but overall he could use a few more post moves and continue to be more consistent with his shooting. He has already made amazing strides since last summer when I saw him the first time.
4. Creed Williamson PF 6’6″ Rancho Solano Prep
Williamson is currently the strongest of the group. The son of former NBA player/current Phoenix Suns assistant coach Corliss Williamson is a load to deal with down low. He has a nice hook shot over his left shoulder that he consistently uses. He moves well up the court and once he gains position he is hard to move off his spot. He has massive hands, big feet and loves the physical game. Once he acquires more skill level over the next few years, he will be even more imposing.
5. Kaleb Mitchell C 6’8″ Mesa Mountain View
Mitchell is strong, long and is somewhat of a project, He has a nice hook shot and can face-up from elbow and in. He scores most of his points inside the paint and near the basket. He rebounds everything near him with his huge wingspan and moves really well up the court and laterally. His upside is very high with length, big hands and family lineage of a 6’4″ mom and a 6’5″ dad. It wouldn’t shock me if he gets to 6’11″+.
6. Micah Pierce PF 6’3″ Desert Vista
Pierce may only be 6’3″ but is an incredible rebounder using his huge wingspan and elite motor. He is only 14 years old with size 16 shoes. He falls into double doubles on the norm. He moves well in space and can defend on the perimeter. He does need to improve his overall skill level and get more polished but his upside is obvious.
7. Connor Barrett PF 6’7″ Desert Mountain
Barrett is another talented forward. He is very fluid and moves like a wing. He is somewhat thin but can handle the ball, shoot the 3 plus rip through and get to the rim to score. Once he gets stronger and puts on more weight to go along with his skill, The Wolves may have a star on their hands.
