- Devin Perry, Central (51–>17) – Central’s Sophomore point guard was plugged into the last update (before the season started) as an afterthought. But 5 months later, Devin has shot up the rankings after a tremendous season where he was the starting point guard for one of the best teams in the city of Louisville. Averaging 12 points while running the offense for Coach Bibby’s team, Devin excelled and proved that the phrase “heart over height” still rings true.
- Camden Williams, Elizabethtown (Unranked–>21) – Camden was way off our radar coming into the season but finds himself just outside the top 20 after his Sophomore season ends. Averaging 18 points and 4 rebounds this year, Williams was a top player in the 5th region all season and with he and the next player on this list, Elizabethtown is a serious competitor to make a run in the 5th region next season.
- JaQuais Franklin, Elizabethrown (16–>10) – Cracking the top ten in the latest update, Franklin joins his E-Town teammate on the list of biggest risers. With his scoring ability and athleticism, Franklin could be a Division one prospect by the end of this summer. While he also stars on the football team with the Panthers, JaQuais is among the top two sport athletes in the state.
- Dante Hayden, Danville (41–>35) – Dante rose to prominence this season as the leading scorer for a Senior laden Danville team. A 39% three point shooter on the season, Hayden was among the top 3 point shooters in the 12th region. His college potential is limited to how much he may grow over the next two years but the worst case scenario for Dante Hayden is to be a good high school player and likely 1,000+ point scorer.
- Byron Cox, Seneca (Unranked–>43) – Ranked purely on potential as a 6’3 and athletic shooting guard, Cox has a chance to be a really nice player in the 2021 class in Louisville. Byron didn’t play until the end of the season but is going to be a big piece for Seneca next season after graduating some talented Seniors this spring.
