Matt Allocco (6’4 / G / Hilliard Bradley): Allocco has increased his size, and is now dominating a lot of opposing matchups. Great court vision, combinded with solid athleticism and craftiness to the hoop are the name of the game for the junior lead guard. Allocco is also a willing rebounder from the guard position.
VonCameron Davis (6’5” / WF / Walnut Ridge): There isn’t really anyone in Central Ohio that can hold back Davis. A back to the basket style player, using strength and good footwork to score inside. Davis is developing his touch and range, when that happens, it will be a bad day for his opposition.
Dominiq Penn (6’1” / G / Dublin Coffman): The junior Rock is a big time scorer from the guard position. Next level handler, a quick first step and a smooth jumper do numbers for Penn. Quick hands are also a plus for Penn on defense, where he can force the passing lane miss cues.
CJ Anthony (6’0” / G / Harvest Prep): CJ Anthony is probably the toughest guard around. The two-way junior is tough downhill where he finishes at the rack through just about anything. Anthony uses change of speed and a solid handle to beat his defender.
Luke Lachey (6’6” / F / Grandview Heights): Luke Lachey is a D1 prospect in football as well as basketball, with major athleticism. Lachey is a put back machine, an a highlight reveal waiting to happen in transition. The junior can stretch the floor, and score in size with good footwork.
Marcus Johnson (6’4” / WF / Columbus South): Marcus Johnson is another player, that thrives on athleticism. Used a combination of cuts and slashes to get looks at the rim. Rebounding is a plus with the ups the junior possesses, also a wrecking crew on the break.
Jayvon Maughmer (6’4” / W / Chillicothe): Jayvon is a wing that can run the offense and get things going at a high rate. Scoring wise, Maughmer does a lot of work in the lane, efficiently. The junior also has the ability to be a multi-dimensional defender, also.
Otto Kuhns (6’3” / G / 2020): Absolutely in the running for best scorer in the area, Kuhns can shoot it lights out or finish at the rim. The multi-sport athlete is a force on defense as well where he can force turnovers with his speed. Works really well off the ball, as well.
Hunter Sheldenhelm (6’4 / WG / Pickerington North): Sheldenhelm is one of the best shooters in the junior class. Gets off screens well and has the ability to rise up from deep with little room. Has improved his defensive abilities where he slides and rotates well, and can man up with the best scorers.
Paul Burris (6’6” / WF / Delaware Hayes): Burris does a lot of work on the wing, where he spaces the floor. The pull up mid-range is in his arsenal, and will look to finish at the rim at times. Good length on the wing, Burris can defend guards, or even a forward at times.
Trevell Adams (5’9” / G / Columbus South): Trevell Adams is hot off a big postseason run, where he played great. A big time finisher at the rim, who can finish acrobatically. Adams is also a force on defense, where he uses his bounce to swat shots at the rim. Big time athlete.
Jake Warinner (6’3” / W / Upper Arlington): The 6-foot-3 Warinner is a scorer that can fill it up in a hurry for the Golden Bears. A work horse in the transition, the junior finishes well with either hand. Comfortable scorer from just about all areas, the wing-guard has a big senior season ahead.
Kobe Righter (5’10” / G / DeSales): Righter is a very solid ball handler, a solid IQ that makes good decisions. The junior works through the lane, where he finishes tough even with contact. A quick guard that can lead to factors on both sides.
Brian Collier (6’0” / G / Grandview Heights): Collier has added some strength, that now allows him to score through the lane with contact. Still a dangerous shooter, Collier is one of the better scoring guards in the area.
Tahleik Walker (6’2″ / G / Pickerington Central): Walker is an excellent man-to-man defender against multiple positions. Terrific quickness, activity, and strength for his slender frame. He bothers ball-handlers and passing lanes with his constant effort and ball-denial. Capable of knocking down open shots and getting to the basket quickly. Good decision-maker. Fast. –Anthony Garcia
Bilal Sow (6’4” / F / Canal Winchester): Sow, does a lot of his work with his back to the basket. With an abundance of post-moves, the junior can score it inside well at this level. As a defender, the 6-foot-4 is a willing shot blocker with his paint presence.
Gage Keys (6’4” / F / Hilliard Davidson): Another standout athlete in more then one sport, also causes a mismatch presence on the hardwood. Keys is a physical player inside where he finishes tough, with a lot of second chance opportunities. Big time rebounder with his defensive lineman built frame, the junior doesn’t get outworked.
Marcus Peaks (6’4” / C / Watkins Memorial): Provides a presence around the basket with his bounce and defensive instincts. Explosive leaper who cleans up possessions and provides help-side shot-blocking at the rim. Peaks is a developing shooter from the mid-range, but quickness and explosiveness at the center position are his calling card -AG
Chris Mayfield (6’5” / F / Hilliard Bradley): Mayfield is an all-around specialist for the Jags. Most of his scoring on put-backs, the junior is a defensive specialist. Shot blocking ability and forcing tough shots are big factors in Mayfield’s game. Doing a lot of the dirty work that won’t show up on the stat sheets, Mayfield can also matchup with multiple positions.
Nate Griggs (5’11” / PG / Delaware Hayes): Nate Griggs plays on ball majority of the time, where he is a quick ball handler. Griggs thrives on the drive and kicks, but also a very good scorer. The drive and spin in the lane, or runner are key components of his game. Also, a willing shooter. On defense, Griggs can press and get after it.
