Many seniors in Washington just wrapped up their high school season and are looking at the next step in their basketball playing career. NAIA and D3 colleges provide a competitive collegiate experience for student-athletes and Washington has multiple players that will be taking their talents onto the next level. Below are the NAIA and D3 commitments in our database so far! Be sure to let us know if we are missing anyone.
2019 6’3 G Jerry Twenge (Mt. Spokane HS) – The sharpshooter from Spokane will be playing basketball just about 10 minutes from his high school. Division 3 powerhouse Whitworth University got a good one in Jerry. He’s strong, tough and he can shoot that ball!
2019 6’2 G Jaeden Ingram (Puyallup HS) – Puyallup’s star guard received an offer from NAIA D2 Multnomah University and signed the weekend after his state tournament. MU will be getting a crafty guard with a knack for scoring the ball and making big plays.
2019 5’9 G Haime Roberts (Clover Park HS) – Multnomah University first saw Roberts play at the Top 250 Expo in Bellevue and he would eventually land at the NAIA D2 school. They will be getting a hard worker that will do anything to help his team win ball games.
2019 6’0 G Kameron Osborn (Prairie HS) – The talk all around Washington was NAIA D2 school, Oregon Tech got a steal in Prairie’s star point guard. He has the handle, strength and savvy to be an impact player from day one.
2019 6’5 SF John Misel (O’Dea HS) – Multiple other players got a lot of credit for O’Dea’s 3A state title, but John was a consistent performer on the state’s best 3A team. John is a nice mixture of skill, length and deceptive athleticism. He will look to carry his winning ways to the University of Puget Sound (D3).
2019 6’5 PF Evan Dirksen (Columbia River HS) – Evan is a super skilled forward with Kevin McHale type footwork and moves. He will be headed to NAIA D1, Menlo College in California.
2019 6’2 PG Erick Farias (St. George’s HS) – The small school region player of the year has committed to Division 3 school, Chapman University. Erik will provide shooting and play-making ability from the point guard position.
2019 6’0 G Jevin Shaughnessy (Life Christian Academy) – Multnomah University
