The East defeated the West 115-100 and where undecided PG Cole Anthony earned most valuable player honors from the East squad.
Cole Anthony has been solid all week in front of the multiple NBA scouts who were in attendance this week in Atlanta. The 6-foot-3 point guard has proven time and time again he can run an offense and get his buckets at the same time. Cole finished with a solid 14 points and 7 assists with 0 turnovers in his MVP peformance. He has stated all week his final five schools include North Carolina, Georgetown, Wake Forest, Notre Dame, and Oregon and he will be making a decision sometime next month.
Washington commit C Isaiah Stewart and Cole Anthony were clicking on all cylinders for the East squad all night long. Most people here and that have been around these guys all week throughout practice will tell you he has been the most impressive prospect here. Stewart sits at 6-foot-10 and plays with an extremely high motor. Whether it was the practices, scrimmages, or the actual game, Isaiah has boosted his NBA stock for the 2020 NBA Draft and has a very high chance of becoming a one-and-done.
Another guy who stoodout but probably has not received the most recognition was Florida commit SG Scottie Lewis. You have to love the way Scottie Lewis plays on the floor and just the way he handles himself on and off the court. The 6-foot-5 wing will receive even more attention from the NBA guys next season at Gainesville. He is an energizer bunny who just plays hard on both ends of the floor no matter what. He will be able to spread defenses next season at Florida with his perimeter shooting skills and let us not forget his gifted athleticism he holds. A potential one-and-done for sure.
Other prospect who stoodout in this year’s McDonald’s All American Game include Georgia commit SG Anthony Edwards, Kentucky commit SG Tyrese Maxey, F Precious Achiuwa, and West Virginia commit C Oscar Tshiebwe.
