PG Cole Anthony
The top uncommitted player in the country brought his A game going for 14 points and 7 dimes while winning MVP. Anthony showed off his ability to get in the lane consistently knocking down floaters and getting out in transition. More than just a scorer, Anthony showed off his distributing skills especially in the pick and roll.
C Isaiah Stewart (Committed to Washington)
Stewart had a dominant week in Atlanta. Reminds me so much of former #1 pick Elton Brand with his physical build and play down low. Elite area rebounder. Finishes with strength around the hoop. Played above the rim on a couple lobs that he slammed home. His high-motor is off the charts. 16 points on the night.
SG Anthony Edwards (Committed to Georgia)
Edwards is a jumbo scoring guard that can play both on and off the ball. Plus shooter that can knock down pull up threes and mid-range shots. Strong driver when he gets going downhill. Showed some passing feel too. He had 12 points.
SF Trendon Watford
Watford is a skilled and crafty wing that plays the game with a high basketball IQ. Was a bit streaky shooting it, but he used his handles to get to the rim in the half court and transition. Underrated as a passer. Stuffed stat sheet for 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 dimes.
SF Precious Achiuwa
Was nice to see this wing be aggressive. Super talented forward that at times we have seen be too passive. He took alot of shots in this game, but was the leading scorer. Physical and athletic wing that is best as a finisher in transition. Energy rebounder with a quick second jump. 22 points (10-22 FG) and 9 rebounds.
C Oscar Tshiebwe (Committed to West Virginia)
Huge center at 6’9” and 250 pounds. He is a dominant area rebounder. All over the glass on both ends of the floor. He can be a little mechanical at times offensively, but has good footwork. He had a workman like 12 points and 10 rebounds.
SG Scottie Lewis (Committed to Florida)
Elite two way prospect that is the top wing defender in this class. Long arms and super athletic. Aggressive downhill slasher who is uber smooth attacking. Explosive finisher at the rim. Off the charts competitor. 10 points and 4 steals.
PF James Wiseman (Committed to Memphis)
Wiseman is among the best players in this class with his long term upside. Long and lanky lefty that knows how to use his length on the glass. Quick to the boards. So fluid running the floor. Knocked down a baseline jumper. Tends to fall in love with the jumper. 13 points and 6 boards for Wiseman.
SG Tyrese Maxey (Committed to Kentucky)
This future Wildcat is a microwave scorer as he can heat up fast! Tried to get his team back in the game with a second half scoring barrage. Knocked down multiple threes. Effective playing both on and off the ball. Finished with 13 points.
SG Wendell Moore (Committed to Duke)
Moore is a skilled small forward that just has a knack for scoring. Crafty with the ball in his hands. Knocked down a pair of jumpers and got loose in transition. 13 points on 5-5 FG.
