Coming into the tournament everyone was aware of Region 6 but the only team that seemed to draw any fear was Olympus and rightfully so. They're the defending state champions. They have the best backcourt in the state with Rylan Jones (University of Utah) and Jeremy Dowdell. Region 6 not only had Highland upset the 1 seed Bountiful but they had every team in their region win.

Here is how they did it:

The Rams actually have a great tournament style team they have dynamic guards that can defend and score. They are lead by PG Liki Makaui and Christian Rich. Both of these players are college bound athletes that can play at the next level. The players that seem to get forgotten are Nate Warr a SG that can nail jumpers from al over the court, Chris Rich is another long guard that can shoot the 3-ball but he can also defend at a high level. Their biggest player who had the most impact in yesterdays upset was Jackson Hawes. He is a football bodied basketball player that frustrated his younger counterpart. Highland has some young talented players that don't always see the floor as well.
