Before the start of the season everyone thought it was going to be Sky View followed by Green Canyon although both teams are tied for 1st, they have company. There are a lot of players in this region that can shoot. This might be the region to light up a zone.
Bear River 15-5 (4-2)
Bear River is a nightmare match-up for teams because they have so many guards that can score. They have 4 players that can score the ball and have range. Those 4 players have hit 37+ 3’s this year already and they combine for 62 points per game. They have 4 great wins this season (Lehi, Stansbury, Tooele, Sky View) and some of them weren’t close. Their two lone bad losses were against Mountain Crest and Judge Memorial. It will be interesting to see how coaches in their own region adjust to the 4 guard look that they’re giving teams.
