Seth Pomeroy 2019 Owasso Point Guard
Pomeroy set the standard for passing on Saturday at the BOK Showcase. The pinpoint passes he hits his teammates with are awesome to see. The attention of detail Pomeroy provides on each possession is what makes him a successful passer and player.
Jack Wright 2020 Regent Prep Guard
Wright gave Regent Prep valuable minutes on the Wing providing them with playmaking abilities. What instantly made him stick out for the passers list was his unselfishness to give up what would have been a solid look at the basket for an even better look for a teammate. The play that best describes Wright’s passing skills came in the third quarter as he drove to the basket two defenders closed on him and he wrapped around both of them for a pass to a teammate which resulted in a wide open layup. He made those type of plays throughout the entire game.
Will Hill 2021 Tulsa Memorial Point Guard
Will Hill passes the ball about the Memorial offense selflessly and effectively. Hill is great at catching slashers and amplifying the abilities of his scoring teammates, which opens the sophomores standout to more open shots himself. In fact, his shooting capabilities and ball-handling skills only draw defenders nearer, making floor general possibilities more and more available.
Bryce Thompson 2020 Booker T. Washington Guard
Bryce Thompson can make some spectacular passes with the ball in his hand. Thompson’s conditioning and down-court vision make him a special passer. Thompson’s alertness to open players across the floor added with his ability to make pin-point passes from length gave Booker T. Washington an additional advantage in the transition game on Saturday.
