Preston Hendricks 2019 Owasso Forward
When I think of glue guys Hendricks is at the top of the list in the state of Oklahoma. At 6’3 Hendricks does not have great size, but good enough to be difficult to match up with inside. The motor of Hendricks constantly out working his guy inside is what makes him a great glue guy. Every time you look up Hendricks is making some positive play for his squad.
Duvan Boshoff 2022 Regent Prep Forward
Boshoff is an intriguing young prospect for Regent Prep to keep an eye on. At the BOK Showcase, Boshoff did a nice job on the boards using his solid frame to box out opponents. Boshoff does not do a ton to shine on the court as he specializes at this point in his career at being the guy who does not mind doing the dirty work. Defensively he was solid making Metro Christian earn points inside. Boshoff did score the ball inside when he got opportunities.
Evan Sadler 2020 Metro Christian Wing
Sadler had an off game by his standards in some departments as you could see coming off having the flu had an impact on his game. One area he did not have an off game was the constant effort he gave for Metro. The boards is where Sadler always shows up and makes an impact. As the old saying goes “what happens when you shot is not falling?” Sadler had a nice game with rebounds and was also huge using his length on defense. He will be a rising 2020 prospect for small colleges to watch.
Will Hill 2021 Tulsa Memorial Point Guard
Will Hill is a brilliant guard for Tulsa Memorial as a scorer and as a facilitator. He is an efficient shooter who does not try to take meaningless, unnecessary shots all night but instead takes confident shots and frees up teammates along the perimeter to score. Additionally, Hill does a great job of moving the ball into the hands of his fellow scorers. Hill also hustles on the defensive end of the floor and help the Chargers to win the turnover battle.
Kavon Key 2020 Tulsa Memorial Wing
Key, who has played some of his best basketball recently, showcased his shooting abilities as well as rebounding. Key is a talented, physical athlete who gives opposing ball-handlers a hard time with his swiper-like hands and large frame. He can also score at each level from the wing and is one of the more talented 3-point shooters on this Tulsa Memorial team.
Torres Walker 2020 Edison Forward
Torres Walker is tall and has long arms, allowing him to get an edge in the rebounding game for Tulsa Edison. He helped the Eagles in a tight loss by playing physical and relentless in the paint to get the ball back in their hands and turn defense into offense.
