Gray Collegiate
Head coach Dion Bethea
The War Eagles are back in the Class 2A State Championship for the 2nd straight season. The War Eagles will play a feisty team from Andrew Jackson HS who has surprised pretty much everyone with their post season play. The War Eagles have a senior heavy team this season and will look to conquer the Volunteers. The War Eagles had to defeat their sister school Oceanside Collegiate for the 2nd time this season in the Lower State Championship Game.
The record could be misleading and Juwan Gary has been gone all season but this War Eagles team still has plenty of fire power to win back to back state championships.
Wins onto State : East Clarendon HS, Whale Branch HS, Mullins HS and Oceanside Collegiate
Tommy Bruner (2019) – 16.2 ppg, 4.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists – Has scored over 1,000 points.

Jalil Robinson (2019) – 11.3 ppg
Jalen Deloach (2020) – 7.7 ppg
Dallaz Corbitt (2019) – 6.6 ppg and 5.3 rebounds – University of Central Florida Football Signee
Ty Rivers (2019) – 6.6 ppg
Andrew Jackson HS (Kershaw)
Head Coach – Danny Wright (99-68)
The Volunteers came into the postseason #2 seed and were not ranked in the last regular season poll. The Volunteers are making their first title appearance since 1980. Current Xavier Musketeer Dontarius James played at Andrew Jackson HS up until his senior year when he transferred to Huntington Prep (WV). The Volunteers will be the underdogs in this game which I really think they seem to embrace. The Volunteers lost to Lee Central HS (2 times), North Central HS and Lewisville HS this season.
Wins onto State : Ninety Six HS, Christ Church, Abbeville HS and Silver Bluff HS
Joey Walters (2019) – 12.5 ppg, 5.3 rebounds (43-88) 49% – 3 point range
Jamie Hinson (2019) – 11.5 ppg
OJ White (2021) – 7 ppg
