The Top Point Guard In 2021 Shows Out

The Red Oak Unsigned Senior deserves more attention
After a mediocre spring and summer, a lot of college coaches were skeptical about recruiting 6-foot-6 athletic wing Josh Miller. I definitely understand why coaches may have their reservations, but I believe Miller has a chance to be a really good college player in the right system. Miller showcased his length, athletic ability and skill against Lancaster. He finished with 19 points in the loss against the number one 5A team in the state.
Lancaster’s Role Players Step Up
Lancaster is privileged to have multiple players that can score double digits on any given night. Devon Miller and Jalen Roberts are tough players that do the little things for the Tigers. Miller is an athletic forward that rebounds the ball well and is a tough finisher on the interior. Roberts is an athletic combo guard that excels in a fast pace game and will dunk on you in transition if you’re not careful. Roberts takes pride on the defensive end and likes to take the challenge of guarding the other teams best perimeter player.
Other Notes…
•2020 Lancaster point guard Mike Miles did a good job of scoring the ball well off the bounce and finished with 19 points in the win.
•2019 Red Oak guard Tolomon Lewis was tremendous scoring the ball on all three levels. Lewis finished with a team high 23 points versus Lancaster.
