Outlook: This district contains two of the top teams in Class 4 with undefeated and No. 1 ranked Sikeston as the top seed and No. 4 Cape Central as the second seed. These two teams have met twice already with Sikeston winning both games in hotly contested affairs in which they trailed, but rallied to win. Barring any major upset, a third meeting is highly probable for the district title. Last season, the Bulldogs defeated Cape Central by one point for the district championship. Third-seeded Cape Notre Dame would love to get a shot at its cross-town rivals in the semifinals.
Prediction: Sikeston
