Prep Hoops All-OCC Buckeye
Ben Roderick (6’6 / WF 2019 / Olentangy Liberty): Ben Roderick was simply one of the best players in the entire state this year. After coming back from last years injury, he took his game to another level. A player that I believe can play high-major basketball at the next level. Scoring 28.1 points per game, Roderick was a high efficiency scorer for the Patriots. Also, poured in a 51 point performance this season. Roderick can get it done from all levels of the offense, as well as a solid defender. The best player in Central Ohio was a big time standout.
Jeremiah Keene (6’1 / WG 2019 / Westerville North): The Westerville North star was a standout in his final season at this level. Also, one of the best offensive players in the area, Keene filled it up consistently. Averaging 19.1 points per game, the 6’1 guard was always a threat for a big game. A high-game of 35 points against Mt. Vernon was a superb game by the Senior. One off the Buckeye divisions best.
Jordan McMillan (6’1 / G 2019 / Westerville South): Westerville South had a down year, in terms of their usual, but this Senior player put on a show every game. Jordan McMillan was one of the best players in the OCC all year. Hovering around 20 points a game all year, the Wildcat Senior could put up some numbers. McMillan had seven games of 20 or more points, which is an excellent stat. A tough player who can affect the game in an instant for South. But, an easy selection for conference team!
Sean Marks (5’11 / G 2019 / Olentangy): Sean Marks is pound for pound, one of the toughest players in the area. The Ohio Dominican signee led the Olentangy Braves to another solid season. Filling it up with 19 PPG, Marks can score it at a high clip. The undersized guard has no problem getting in the lane and finishing. Player bigger then his size, Marks can really shoot it from deep, never afraid to let it fly. A fun player to watch, that is tough as nails. A deserving Senior for the conference team, by Prep Hoops.
Nick Nakasian (6’4 / WF 2019 / Olentangy Liberty): Nick Nakasian will be playing high academic D3 ball at the next level, deservingly so. A player to me that played bigger than 6’4 and was a presence inside any time I got to watch him. However, Nakasian showed all year that he can score it in multiple ways. Good for over 15 points a contest, the Senior was the second half of a nice Liberty duo. A big reason why Liberty is a high seed heading into the post season. A giant 32 point outburst against Gahanna Lincoln, was really a testimony to how well Nick can really play. A great year by a good player.
