Trinity of Durham Noah Dinkins: Can score the ball at a very high level, picked up Ivy League interest last season as he is an outstanding student in the classroom. He has plenty of potential left in him and will only get better as he goes into the right program on the next level.
Brock Williams Burlington Christian: This young man is a flat out scoring machine but also is a dime dropper as he averaged 6 assist per contest. The way he is able to put the ball in the bucket is simply impressive, his average of 34.8 PPG on the year was good enough to be the top scorer in the state by over 4 PPG.
Jadon Young Wayne Christian: The time we saw him play he didn’t have his best showing but you could see flashes of how good he can be. He has a smooth game and the ability to put the ball in the bucket at a pretty high level, for the season he averaged 26 points a night.
Jaden Cooper Wayne Country Day: WCD made an impressive run in the state tournament to reach the championship game and Jaden was a big part of that. He can knock down shots, get into the paint to make plays and is a good ball handler that doesn’t turn it over very often.
Dusan Dordevic Freedom Christian: He hasn’t been in the states for a very long time but the impact he made for Freedom on a nightly basis was clear. He can score inside the paint, rebound at a high level and is still getting better.
John Michael Wright Fayetteville Academy: Without a doubt he is one of the best PG’s that’s left on the board, he plays the game at a very high level and is a player that simply won’t allow his team to lose. The improvements he has made in his game during his high school years has been simply tremendous and we know he will only get better once he gets to college.
Will Onyeodi Fayetteville Academy: This year was the season that he needed to help his recruitment as he played better as time went on. He’s a strong player that is not hesitant about mixing it up in the paint, can score and rebound at a high level.
Northside Christian Jayden Seymour: A young player with plenty of potential but has already shown that he can produce on a high level. He has a nice amount of size at 6’8 to go along with his skillset so don’t be surprised to see more schools jump on board before all is said and done.
