G Grant Fridley (Trenton Wesclin)
This combo guard from Trenton Wesclin is a decent passer with a quality feel for the game. Had a couple slick dishes including one behind the back. Pushed in the open floor and has a clean looking shot. Only hit a couple, but you can tell he is going to be a sound perimeter shooter as time goes on and a big time scorer.
F Dalton Markus (Breese Central)
Markus is a combo forward that is a quality area rebounder. He has strength and size already. Has the athleticism and fluidity to eventually transition into a full time three man down the line. Runs the floor well and has a high skill level. Handled getting to the basket on a spinning layup and also connected on a wing three.
PF Cole Peppenhorst (Breese Mater Dei)
Was very impressed with this projectable forward. Long and lanky build with plenty of room to continue growing vertically and getting stronger. Active on the offensive glass getting tip ins and scoring on post ups. Soft touch and efficient in paint. Flashes some athletic pop blocking shots.
PG Conner Loepker (Breese Mater Dei)
This tiny point guard ran the show for his team. Slick ball handler that got to the cup for a couple crafty layups.
SG Cade Altadonna (Highland)
This strong lefty two guard is super tough. He scored very well in transition with many of those scores coming off his own steals. Efficient with his touches on the offensive end. Active kid that has a nose for the basketball.
SG Carter Schoenherr (Nashville)
At 6’0” Schoenherr is a two guard definitely worth monitoring as we move forward. Big time scoring threat on the wing that is ultra-smooth with the rock in the transition game. Wins off the dribble in the half court. Nifty finisher at the rim including completing a euro step. Got on the glass for a pair of put backs. One of the better pure scorers throughout the day.
SG Charlie Fehrenbacher (Salem)
This wing has a long and lanky build with projectability. Should continue to grow. Smooth looking shot and a solid all-around skill set. Can play on and off the ball. Got on the offensive glass for a couple put backs.
SG Wyatt Nothaus (Stewardson-Strasburg)
Thin and long wing that is an outstanding mid-range shooter. Was very effective from the baseline on mid-range shots. Has some defensive potential as he swatted a shot. Using his length horizontally in passing lanes will elevate his game even more.
PG Anden Axwood (Cisne)
This point guard was actually a 7th grader. He can really score it from the point guard spot with smooth handles and good athleticism.
SF Malik Crane (Desoto)
Gritty wing that is a plus defender. He was very good using his quickness on the defensive end and scored inside on dump offs and put backs.
SF Kade Lustenberger (Carterville)
Really liked what this 6’2” small forward brought to the table. Projectable forward with length and skill. Handles it well off the bounce scoring in the lane on a variety of drives with a soft touch. Got on the glass for put backs. Hit mid-range jumpers. Runs the floor fluidly.
C Wyatt Hamson (Hamilton County)
Big and broad shouldered five man that moves well for his size. Decent rebounder with solid footwork in the paint. Got to the free throw line where he has a lot of arc on his shot.
SG Parker Price (Eldorado)
Price is another wing that impressed with his overall game. Scrappy defender who competed on that end of the floor. Good looking three point shot and had a high basketball IQ making a couple sweet dishes.
SG Kellen Scott (Pinckneyville)
This wing is a tough kid with broad shoulders. Hit a wing three. Showed athleticism and toughness.
PG Peyton Bittle (Carterville)
Bittle was a really tiny guard, but he played with a lot of flair for the game. Good feel and solid shooter.
SG Caden Hawkins (Carterville)
Hawkins is a scoring guard who got out in transition. Should develop into a nice scoring guard.
