Hard Work Region Preview: TS Wolverines
Although it is still in the middle of the high school basketball season in Illinois we are already looking ahead to the travel team circuit this spring. We will be previewing the teams participating in the PrepHoops Circuit Hard Work Region over the next few months.
Below is our chat with Anthony Phillips of the TS Wolverines previewing this upcoming season!
Why did you start your program? How long have you been around?
Started program to offer quality basketball instruction and high level competition to youth in our area 10yrs ago.
What is the goal of your program for 2019?
Our goal this year is same as always player development and an opportunity to compete and win a National.
What is your program’s mission each year?
Our goal is always the same do develop our players on and off the court, help give them direction and focus and get them into college.
Do you know of any players that will be back in your program this year? Who should we have our eye on?
Players that will be back and are having great success this school year are Tristen Phillips (Yorkville Christian) ,Jashawn Hurston (East Aurora), Kamari Mcbride (Metea Valley), and Kelvin Balfour (West Aurora) all have been and will be instrumental in our success.
Why did you choose the Prep Hoops Circuit?
The prep hoops platform we believe will give us the chance to play quality opponents and allow our guys the chance to get some good exposure to help with their goal to play at the next level.
