Hard Work Region Preview: NDM Elite
Although it is still in the middle of the high school basketball season we are already looking ahead to the travel team circuit this spring. We will be previewing the teams participating in the PrepHoops Circuit Hard Work Region over the next few months.
Below is our preview of NDM Elite chatting with Kevin Craddock about this upcoming season!
Why did you start your program? How long have you been around?
We started our program (Brian Williams, Darryl Bye, Kevin Craddock) because we wanted to offer a great group of boys an opportunity to fulfill their dreams of playing basketball in and outside of our community. Living in the Fargo, Moorhead area which is not considered a hot bed for basketball we knew our group of kids could go out and compete on a national level if only given a chance. Through a lot of sacrifice from amazing parents and dedicated players and coaches we’ve succeeded to do what we set out to back in 2014, compete on a national stage. The life experiences and relationships that these boys will gain through this game will forever mold them into great young men.
What is the goal of your program for 2019?
The goal for our program in 2019 will be to get our players more exposure, build more relationships and great memories that these boys can cherish for a lifetime. We would also like to open doors for other teams coming out of the Fargo, Moorhead area as there’s a ton of talented players in that area.
What is your program’s mission each year?
Our program mission each year is always to create a better future for our student athletes through building relationships on and off the court. Creating leaders who will one day have a vision to help others and give back without looking for anything in return.
Do you know of any players that will be back in your program this year? Who should we have our eye on?
We have some up and coming young players who should definitely garner some attention this Spring and Summer. Mason Kerr, Tre Rodriguez, Mekhi Elmore, Jonny Rietschel, Tanner Heier, Donnavin Hinsz, Isaiah Hagen return to the team seasoned and ready to go. The 2 new additions Boston Davis and Alijah Dixon will also bring excitement and will be looking to be impact players for our squad.
Why did you choose the Prep Hoops Circuit?
We chose Prep Hoops because of the great things we’ve heard about their events. From the competition level to the opportunity of our players being able to perform on a big stage (Which Prep Hoops offers) we knew right away this is where we needed to be. We’re excited to be apart of this circuit and can’t wait to get started.
