Today we look at The ProGram Basketball who will have teams competing on the 13U, 15U, 16U, and 17U circuits. This squad will be at the #GrindSzn Kickoff, Mayhem in the Plex, and the Grind Region Finals.
Below is our chat with program director Kenny Wright previewing this upcoming season:
Why did you start your program? How long have you been around?
We started our program to give kids a platform to be seen. The ProGram Basketball has been around since 2005 (under a different name at the time).
What is the goal of your program for 2019?
Our goal is to put twice as many kids in college this year than the year before, while keeping our focus of helping kids first.
What is your program’s mission each year?
Our mission each year is to produce better young men on and off the court.
Do you know of any players that will be back in your program this year? Who should we have our eye on?
- Bryndon Looney (6’7″ Forward)
- Omari Bobbitt (6’2″ Guard)
- Luke Cannaday (6’2″ Shooting Guard)
- Kenton Wright (6’1″ Point Guard)
Why did your program choose the Prep Hoops Circuit?
The Prep Hoops Circuit is a very good platform for our kids to get exposure from other parts of the country, and not to mention, it’s a well ran circuit with great events and good people.
