Over those two decades, Chaos has sent a whopping 433 players to the college ranks; 113 of them have gone on to play Division I hoops, 33 have played professionally.
David Matthews is Colorado Chaos’ president and founder, and says that in addition to succeeding on the court and advancing deep into tournaments, getting his guys into the right collegiate fit is a key goal of his organization.
“As with every year, our primary goal is to prepare and mentor our players in the search for the perfect collegiate fit and also train our players to be leaders and role models off the court as well,” said Matthews.
He emphasized that it’s not necessarily about getting his players to the highest level of college hoops, but rather to level that will suit them the best.
“Our mission is to provide an opportunity for our players to compete in front the the right coaches and and scouts that will help benefit their future the most,” said Matthews. “As always, we will mentor our players and families through the recruiting process and help them find the best collegiate fit, rather than necessarily finding the highest level school that may not fit their needs.”
Chaos’ 2019 rosters have not yet been solidified,, and will announce the rosters in March once the process is complete.
“We can’t wait to get started practicing and competing,” said Matthews.
You can catch Colorado Chaos on the Grind Region of the Prep Hoops Circuit this season. Matthews and Co. are eager to compete against some of the best competition in country.
“We know the competition will be stiff and we’re excited as always to compete against the best teams in the Grind Region,” said Matthews. “With the new NCAA rules this season, it’s extremely important for club teams to maximize their schedules and the Prep Hoops Circuit will be a great opportunity for the Colorado Chaos.”
