Jordan @ Corner Canyon
The Region 7 Championship is on the line and a possible 1 seed in the state tournament as well. The number 1 seed will avoid Olympus and Bountiful. There is a lot on the line for both teams here. Dyson Koehler has been putting up crazy numbers the past few games. Corner Canyon will need production from more than 3 players if they want to tie for a region championship. This should be a physical game. Don’t be surprised if this game is as close as the last one.
Highland @ Skyline
The team that looses this game will likely be the team on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs. In the beginning of the season Highland seemed to have a mixture of young players and veterans but they have struggled this season. Skyline on the other hand had low expectations but they find their way into a possible contention for a berth in the playoffs. Skyline does have a tough road as they end the season against Olympus. Look for Liki Makaui to have a great game if he is allowed to create.
Logan @ Sky View
Logan shocked Sky View in their 1st meeting and if they do it again they will shock the 4A classification. It would create a tie for the 3 and 4 spot that would give the 4 spot to play an away game at Juan Diego who hasn’t been defeated at home in 3 years. A lot ob the line tonight. Can Sky View get team production or will it be a 1 or 2 man show? That’s the question.
Brighton @ Alta
Alta has come on strong and they’re playing well enough to make the playoffs. They just need one more win to seal it up. They will need big games from Hunter Humphries and Jaden Brownell. Brighton will need to take care of the ball and get second chance opportunities. Whoever controls the boards in this one will win the game.
Viewmont @ Farmington
Can Viewmont keep it’s playoff hopes alive? Parker Kearns is going to have to have a big night. In their last meeting he had 15 and 10. He might need to get 20 tonight. Despite Kendall Draxler scoring 23 last meeting Farmington could not pull the game off. Could be another close game.
