After opening up with a strong first quarter, the Colts found themselves down by two at halftime, but ended up squeaking out a hard-fought 62-61 win over the Crimson Tide. Here we recap this contest by highlighting five intriguing prospects.
LONAILE CYRUS | 6’1 SG/SF | DUNBAR ’19
Cyrus is an absolute tank who is listed at 220 pounds, and is tough to stop off the bounce once he drops his shoulder to get downhill. He is an adept paint getter who showed the ability to absorb contact and finish consistently in traffic with either hand.
TAEVON HENDERSON | 5’8 PG | COOLIDGE ’19
Henderson’s nickname should be “Mighty Mouse”. Listed at 5-foot-8, he is lightning quick with the ball in his hands and absolutely fearless. Henderson knocked down several spot up threes in this game, including the eventual game-winner.

CHRIS MATEO | 6’5 PF/SF | DUNBAR ’21
At this point, Mateo is more potential than production, but you can’t ignore his intriguing blend of size, mobility, and youth. His defensive potential is quite promising moving forward when you consider his physical attributes in conjunction with the strong work rate that he displayed.
CHRIS MOSES | 6’7 PF | COOLIDGE ’20
Chris Moses was by far the best athlete on the court. Listed at 190 pounds, Moses is an explosive leaper, especially off two feet. He is a very good out of area rebounder who demonstrated terrific hand-eye coordination.
STEPHAUN WALKER | 6’6 C | COOLIDGE ’22
In terms of long-term potential, Walker was clearly the cream of the crop. The broad-shouldered freshman has a robustly built frame that he will grow into over time, but already has pretty good command of his body. Walker is an instinctive rim protector and a relentless rebounder who still has plenty of room to grow offensively.
