Davidson Day, of Davidson, North Carolina, comes in as the number two seed in the 2A Classification.
The “Patriots”, 19-4, had a huge week last week, winning their two final regular season games.
Davidson Day began their week with a 63-47 win over defending NCISAA 2A champion Carmel Christian on Monday, behind their leaders C.J. Huntley and Jackson Threadgill.
The Patriots followed that win up with a 74-46 win over Calvary Day School, of Winston-Salem.
It was sophomore wings, Bryce Alfino and Joel Baucom, who led the way for Davidson Day in their win over Calvary Day, with 19 and 16 points respectively.

Monday Feb. 5, Davidson Day 63, Carmel Christian 47
Davidson Day had a huge win last Monday, when they defeated the defending NCISAA 2A state champion, Carmel Christian 63-47.
C.J. Huntley, 6-9 200, PF, 2020, Davidson Day, Davidson, NC
Huntley came up big for the winners, with 19 points, five rebounds and three blocks. He hit four three-pointers in the game.
Jackson Threadgill, 6-4 175, 2G, 2020, Davidson Day, Davidson, NC
The slim 2G finished with 14 points, four assists and four rebounds.
Bryce Alfino, 6-4 180, SF, 2021, Davidson Day, Davidson, NC
The ever improving Alfino added 12 points and four assist for the winners.

Carmel Christian, 28-3, which is now in the 3A Classification, was led by College Of Charleston bound C.J. Epps, a 6-6 senior, with 16 points and App State bound Donovan Gregory with 10 points.

Friday Feb. 9, Davidson Day 74, Calvary Day 46
In their final tuneup before the NCISAA State Tournament, Davidson Day defeated Calvary Day 74-46, knocking down 15 treys in the game.
With Jackson Threadgill, out with the flu, sophomores, Bryce Alfino and Joel Baucom led Davidson Day with 19 and 16 points respectively.

Alfino led the “Patriots” with 19 points, making three treys among his buckets.
Joel Baucom, 6-3 170, 2G, 2021, Davidson Day, Davidson, NC
Baucom, a prototype 2G, added 16 points for the winners. The sweet shooting sophomore knocked down four treys, among his buckets.
