Region 4 along with Kearns, Fremont and Copper Hills will be favorites but anything can happen. These teams have shown major flashes of greatness and possible championship contention, but they have also lost to questionable teams. Either way these teams and the usual suspect should make for a great 6A State Championship run.
Here are some teams that have the potential to be dark horse teams that are not your usual top 6 teams.
Top 6 Teams
1.Pleasant Grove
2.American Fork
3.Westlake
4.Kearns
5.Fremont
6.Copper Hills
Top 2 Dark Horse Teams
1.Herriman
Herriman has the resume that has prepared them to make a deep run in the playoffs. They have been in close games and they have maybe lost a few they would like to have back. Herriman has the size, speed and shooting to compete with anyone. They have a PG that has experience. Don’t be surprised if they make it to the final 4. It might sound crazy but it might be more beneficial for them to be the 3 seed.
Key Players: Jael Vaughn, Kase Petersen, LeGrand Burgess, Blake Freeland
2.Davis
It almost seems as if Davis has been a forgotten team. We are here to tell you that The Darts can play. They can hang with the best of them. They lost to PG by 8 earlier this season and they can turn it up and score in bunches.
Key Players: Tyson Garff, Brendon Redford, Jake Sampson
