11. Aidan Hulbert, G/F, Gunnison, 2021, 1.6 bpg
The sophomore had a breakout season and is developing into a balanced contributor who can impact the game in a number of ways. This winter, he averaged 5.9 points, 1.3 assists, 6.9 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and about a steal per game.
12. Elias Williams, 6-3, F, DSST: Green Valley Ranch, 2019, 1.5 bpg
Williams finished out his final regular season in strong form. He averaged at double-double with 10.2 points and 10.2 rebounds, and also had nearly three assists and three steals per game to go with his 1.5 blocked shots.
13. James Doyle, 6-5, W, Kent Denver, 2019, 1.5 bpg
What an outstanding senior season it has been so far for this kid. He averaged 21.7 points, 2.8 assists, 8.7 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.5 blocks per game. It’s going to be fun to watch Doyle and the Sun Devils (15-4) in the playoffs.
14. Caleb Ruter, 6-6, PF, Faith Christian, 2020, 1.5 bpg
At 6-foot-6, 185 pounds, Ruter is a force for the Eagles, who are 15-4 going into the postseason. He scored 16.8 points a night including a season-high 30 points against The Vanguard School on Dec. 1. He also averages 7.4 rebounds a game and Faith Christian will be counting on him in the tournament.
15. Caden Church, 6-3, C, Bennett, 2021, 1.4 bpg
The Tigers struggled this winter but Church is beginning to come into his own as a sophomore. The 10th-grader scored only about three points a game but he made the most of his minutes and is developing into a solid defender, and should continue to do so as he grows.
