1. Cyrus Lefforge, 6-6, C, Fort Lupton, 2019, 3.7 bpg
Elijah Mullet leads the Bluedevils in scoring but Lefforge is close behind, and he leads the team in just about everything else. In 17 games played, he is averaging 11.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.7 blocks per night.
2. Kevin DiMarco, 6-8, C, Coal Ridge, 2019, 2.8 bpg
DiMarco has been getting the job done in a big way for the Titans. Already signed with Chadron State, the senior is averaging 17.5 points, 1.7 assists, 9.4 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and about a steal per game.
3. Bryson Becker, 6-9, C, Platte Valley, 2019, 2.4 bpg
Becker has been all over these lists, and for good reason. He has some of the more eye-popping stats in Class 3A. Through 19 games, he has averaged 22.2 points, 1.5 assists, 11.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 2.4 blocks per game for the Broncos. He also competes in track and field.
4. J Searle, 6-0, G, Ellicott, 2020, 2.3 bpg
The first non-senior to make this list, Searle is also the only player under 6-foot-5 to crack 3A’s top five in shot blocking. Not only does Searle block over two shots a game, he’s averaging 12.7 points, 2.2 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 2.1 steals. If he can boost his 3-point shooting numbers, his stock would get a nice boost.
5. Ivan Torres, 6-5, F, Strive Prep – Smart, 2021, 2.2 bpg
It’s been a pretty impressive sophomore campaign for Torres already. The Ocelotls are just 4-15 but the sophomore forward is averaging 10.6 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per night. His season high for blocked shots is six against Arvada on Dec. 21.
