With so many guys not signed yet, here is the second part of the five unsigned impressive prospects list.
ICYMI:
Allan Jeanne-Rose (St. John Paul II)
Perhaps one of the most underrated wings in the entire state of Florida, 2019 forward Allan Jeanne-Rose was instrumental to St. John Paul’s first district title in 11 years. Averaging 16.5 PPG and 8.0 RPG, the senior is a true leader and an attacker by nature. He was a standout at the Prep Hoops Top 250 in September at Mainland High. Jeanne-Rose deserves a long look from a college program in need of length, athleticism and determination.
Preston Urbancic (First Baptist)
A dangerous outside shooter, 2019 guard Preston Urbancic is a determined leader and someone who takes smart and well-timed jumpers. In the district title win over Canterbury on Saturday, the 6’2″ senior scored 28 points, connecting on 5-of-7 from deep for First Baptist. An offer from Oral Roberts has come in and Urbancic should be able to land a bit more before this season wraps up.
Anthony Duncan (Poinciana)
Here is a true athlete who is still putting it all together. Hard to slow down at times, 2019 Poinciana forward Anthony Duncan has played a big part in his team’s district title. The 6’6″ senior can play down low and he can impact the game on both sides of the ball. Averaging 10.6 PPG and 5.5 RPG, Duncan will likely be a late riser and a player colleges will develop and build. He earned his first offer on Sunday from JUCO Bryant and Stratton.
Sincere Torain (Springstead)
Getting better each year, Sincere Torain capped off his high school career at Springstead averaging 18.7 PPG, 4.3 APG and 4.0 RPG. The 6’1″ guard is a captain and the glue of this offense. Torain reached double digits in all but two of the 23 matchups the Eagles played this season. Torain has interest from Bridgewater and Bethany but no cemented offers. He is a guy who is ready to contribute at the next level with his attacking ability and true willingness to learn.
Nirobi Peeler (Clearwater)
The playoffs have treated Nirobi Peeler pretty well as the 2019 Clearwater guard has shot 17 of 20 in two games, wins over Northeast and Boca Ciega. The 6’0″ senior scored 20 points and 21 points respectively. Averaging 13.2 PPG and 4.5 APG, Peeler creates by himself with his quick twitch handles. He has a nice formed jumper and his ability to mix it up defensively. Peeler has no offers but is another guard that continues to make plays.
