Lower State
South Florence HS vs Lexington HS
The Bruins (10-11) will travel to the Midlands to play the undefeated Wildcats (26-0). Justice Jackson 21,5 ppg and Korique Rainey 14.5 ppg, will have to be on their best games to pull the upset.
Mason Carver 19.6 ppg , Bradley Foulks 10.2 ppg and Jonathan Corley 10.2 ppg provide senior leadership for Head Coach Bailey Harris squad.
Fort Dorchester HS vs Goose Creek HS
The Patriots (11-12) will make the short drive over to play the Gators (15-10). Antoine Parker 13.7 ppg, Latrell Marshall 9.2 ppg and Mason Grant 10.7 ppg have had good seasons for Head Coach Jacob Smith.
The Gators will counter with a scrappy defense led by Travelle Simmons, Shakarian Nelson and Alonzo Ford.
Stall HS vs Conway HS
The Warriors (11-15) came to the Grand Strand last year and defeated the Myrtle Beach Seahawks while being a Class AAAA program. Romello Grant, Jalen Bailey and Seth Rivers all seniors will need to play flawless against the Tigers. Conway HS (18-5) has Tonka Hemingway – Region Player of the Year and Timothy Steele patrolling the paint.
James Island HS vs Ashley Ridge HS (Summerville)
The Trojans will adventure up to Summerville to play the Swamp Foxes. Lawton Davis, Daquan Vinson (Palmetto Prep Football commit) and Bailey Wiseman lead the offense for Head Coach Stan Wilkins.
Ashley Ridge HS (17-7) has Jamal Edmonson (Francis Marion (SC) Signee) who has scored over 3.050 career points during his high school career. Jalen Williams and Ahmad Brown add plenty of pop to this lineup.
Blythewood HS vs Berkeley HS
Blythewood HS Bengals (18-7) played in the Upper State all season long but floated down to the Lower State for the playoffs. Tre Jackson 22.1 ppg (Iowa State Signee) and freshman sensation Julian Phillips 11.5 ppg will draw the mighty Stags from Berkeley HS.
The Stags (22-1) have senior leadership in Ishan White 15.6 ppg, Trevur Smalls 15.6 ppg, DJ Chisholm (Middle Tennessee State Football Signee) 10.1 ppg and Cameron Fordham.
Socastee HS vs River Bluff HS (Lexington)
The Braves (12-12) have played better ball later in the season. Jonathan Wright, Jevon Griffin, Payton Lewis all have picked up the slack since the departure of Kassius “Jay” Williams. Jeremiah Reeves 14.5 ppg and Andrew Robinson 11,7 ppg have provided the spark for the Gators (20-5) this season.
Wando HS vs West Ashley HS
The Warriors (15-9) travel over past the Ashley River to play the Wildcats. Tristan Freeling 11,8 ppg and Braxton Washington have been the 1-2 punch for the Warriors this season. West Ashley HS (17-7) will counter with Kenyatta Jenkins, Marlon “OJ” Hill, Devin Ramsey, Peter Musci and Jadon Moore.
Dutch Fork HS vs West Florence HS
The Silver Foxes (14-9) travel over to play the Knights (17-7). Chase Raymond 11.1 ppg leads a very balanced team for Head Coach Brett Jones. The Knights will rely on a balance lineup led by Sabien Nero 11.2 ppg and Darius Dawson 10.8 ppg
