First Baptist 75 Trinity-Byrnes 59
The Hurricanes got strong play from McGuire Weekley who finished with 18 points. Weekley was on fire all day long from downtown. Weekley played last season at James Island HS. Michel Dukes a Clemson football signee recorded 18 points while Devin Dean added 16 points in the win. Joseph Powell was the 4th player for the Hurricanes (17-5) in double figures with 11 points.
Nick Ford led the charge for the Titans (23-11) with 24 points. Nicholas Jones added 15 points while Jordan Jones chipped in with 13 points in the loss.
Hammond 49 Heathwood Hall 41
The Skyhawks came out on top in this city rival with the victory. The Skyhawks won all three games with the Highlanders this season. Trent Greene led the way with 14 points while Jordan Burch and Andre Wilson both added 12 points. The Skyhawks improve to (15-5) on the year.
The Highlanders were led in scoring by Isaiah Caldwell with 21 points.
Porter Gaud 61 Pinewood Prep 47
The Cyclones will look to win 4 straight championships this season. Josiah James a Tennessee recruit finished the night with 31 points. The Cyclones (18-9) move into the semifinals on Friday.
Cohen Gaskins took high honors for the Pinewood Prep Panthers with 29 points. Ja-Saun Pryor playing in his last game for the Panthers finished with 10 points.
Cardinal Newman 68 Augusta Christian (GA) 46
The Cardinals led from the start to move into the semifinals. Chico Carter Jr. finished with 29 points while Joshua Beadle added 13 points in the victory.
Nate Dunlop finished his career with Augusta Christian (GA) by scoring 22 points. The Lions finished the season at (22-9).
