Davonshai Harden, 6’4, G/F, 2020, Topeka
Harden has blown up recently in the football recruiting world as the QB prospect has earned offers from Kansas and Kansas State, however, he has also helped Topeka to a No. 2 overall state ranking in the latest Class 6A poll. He has terrific size, athleticism and a well-rounded, inside-out skill set. Harden can knock down the long ball, handles it well and has the size to see over a defense and make smart passes.
Zeke Mayo, 6’2, G, 2021, Lawrence
A talented guard who can handle the ball and attack the basket. Mayo has good instincts on the floor and he is a willing passer and creative scorer. He make timely plays on the floor and can connect when the game is on the line and time is winding down. He has an array of runner and floaters he uses in the lane and he can play above the rim in transition.
DK Middleton, 6’4, G, 2020, Free State
A good-sized athlete with agility and grit. Middleton has emerged as a strong wing player who can makes plays off the dribble and score in transition. He’s a slasher who fights his way inside and can connect off glass and from distance. He is unselfish and scores and makes plays in a way that is natural and flows with the team’s offense.
Mayson Quartlebaum, 6’4, F, 2020, Lawrence
A versatile performer with good size and a talented skillset. He can make plays on the block and move either way and score. He can also step back and knock down 3-pointers. He is comfortable inside and can rebound and finish plays, but he’s also willing to handle the ball and distribute some on the perimeter.
Savonni Shazor, 6’7, G/F, 2019, Lawrence
A sharp player with elite height and length. Shazor is a player who can score inside or shoot from distance. He is a versatile defender and can disrupt things in the perimeter and challenge shots in the paint. He shows flashes of brilliance in half court offense and has a lot of unlocked potential he can add to his game.
