Tyce Brown, G, 2019, Shawnee Heights
A rising point guard who continues to make a strong case as one of the state’s most underrated point guards, Brown is a skilled player with a good head on his shoulders. He is a terrific outside shooter and can get in the lane and get his floater off. A crafty player who shakes off defenders and finds openings.
Armahn Downing, 6’1, G, 2019, Washburn Rural
A smooth guard who brings athleticism and quickness to the floor. Downing has a terrific all-around game on both ends of the floor. He has a nice pull up jumper and a mid range game that allows him to draw attention and then make passes. He sees his teammates moving and he gets them the ball for open looks and back door crashes.
Clarence King, 6’2, G, 2019, Lawrence
Kings is a strong point guard who is capable of running the show and playing physical basketball when he takes it inside. King is an excellent scorer and is confident shooting anywhere on the floor. He moves well on the floor and can rebound, pass and put up numbers.
Trey Quartlebaum, 6’1, PG, 2019, Lawrence
A St. Francis-Brooklyn recruit, Quartlebaum is a terrific player who can handle pressure up top and attack defenders. Quartlebaum is a good ball handler who can shake off defenders and sink jumpers. He can shoot from distance but he prefers high percentage baskets around the mid-range and closer. He is also a strong defensive player who can pick off passes and finish above the rim.
Jordan White, 6’1, PG, 2019, Washburn Rural @jordanwhite2019
A four-year varsity player with experience and know-how. White is a strough, tough point guard who is capable of scoring anywhere on the floor all while bringing a pass-first mentality to the floor. He is a good defenders as well and can rebound, play physical and attack the basket off the dribble. White has committed to play football at Drake after a strong career at Washburn.
