These games will be played at Snow College.
There will be a few teams at a disadvantage as they will have to travel a lot of miles to put fans in seats.
The favorite to run away with the title is Layton Christian. With only handful of players that hail from Utah they will also be the most heated team in the tournament. Small town high school fans have petitioned to remove LCA from 2A but the issue is that their other programs can’t compete in higher classifications.
Gunnison (10-11) vs. Rowland Hall (16-5)
Rowland Hall is lead by Isaiah Adams and should take care of Gunnison, but Gunnison will make this game a home game as they will fill the gym. This could rattle a Rowland Hall team that might not travel well.
Waterford (10-10) vs. Beaver (12-8)
Beaver and Waterford played earlier this year and both teams are well coached. We give the advantage to Beaver as they picked up a 10 point win earlier this year and they usually get better as the season rolls on. Beaver is lead by Ky Brown.
Enterprise (9-13) vs. Altamont (5-18)
Enterprise is lead by Ryan Holt and should have no trouble with Altamont.
Rockwell (8-11) vs. Layton Christian (18-6)
The real question will be if Layton will score 100 points in this game. Good season Rockwell.
St.Joseph’s (10-12) vs. Parowan (19-3)
St. Joe’s Sayveon Armstrong and Parowan’s Porter Wood are two of the top scorers in this classification. Parowan has a great supporting cast that will be an issue for St. Joe’s.
Duchesne (10-11) vs. APA Draper (16-4)
This should be a great game that could go either way. It might come down to the wire.
APA West Valley.(13-13) vs. Kanab (12-8)
Kanab is the favorite here. Their tough schedule will prepare them for a nice run.
North Sevier (8-12) vs. North Summit (12-10)
North Summit has a tough team but this will be a tough game.
Players to Watch:
