With college programs keep tabs on the state tournament, 2020 athletes have the opportunity to leave a big impression as they head into AAU season. Expect things to heat up for this class in the next couple months.
Kam Woods (Pinson Valley): Kam has picked up his first D1 offer from Jacksonville State. The dynamic scoring point guard has lead his team to Birmingham. A state title followed by a huge AAU season will make waves for Woods.
Tommy Murr (Lindsey Lane): The nation’s leading scorer dropped 52 points in the sweet 16 with Morehead St in attendance. Murr will pick up more offers with a big time run on the EYBL Circuit this spring/summer.
Austin Harvell (East Limestone): Harvell took an unofficial visit to Ole Miss over the weekend. The 6’7 athletic wing had a big season on both ends of the court. Harvell will join Murr on the EYBL Circuit this spring/summer.
Dee Beckwith (Florence): This kid is a monster athlete. The 2-sport star recently picked up an offer from Coach Frank Martin and South Carolina. At 6’5 Beckwith can play multiple positions, and his athleticism makes him a very intriguing prospect.
Titus Griffin (Covenant): Griffin is one of the best shooters in the state. Class does not matter. The 6’1-6’2 SG has picked up interest from Morehead State. With his elite shooting ability and improved overall game, Titus is poised for a big AAU run.
Duke Miles (Lee-Montgomery): The 6’2 athletic point guard has started receiving interest from Belmont. Miles can do it all on the court, and he has lead his team back to Birmingham. A big finish to the season will go a long way.
Jayden Stone (Sacred Heart): The ESPN Top 60 prospect has picked up offers from Ole Miss and Louisville. Stone has lead Sacred Heart to Birmingham and is poised for a big finish to the season. AAU season will also be a big opportunity for Stone to show he is one of the nation’s best.
