Izaiah Hale, 6’1, PG, 2019, Wichita Heights
Hale has taken on the point guard duties for a 12-2 team and is the second-leading scorer on a deep and balanced Heights team, averaging 9.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game for the Falcons.
Jared Mocaby, 6’0, PG, 2019, Goddard @Jared_Mocaby
Also a football standout, Mocaby is a tough, hard-nosed competitor who works hard at both ends of the floor and brings leadership and a high basketball IQ to the floor. Mocaby is capable of running the point, leading the break and knocking down an open 3-pointer.
Johnny Murdock, 6’0, G, 2019, Wichita Southeast
A terrific outside shooter, Murdock has taken his game to new levels this offseason. Known throughout much of his high school career for his shooting ability, Murdock has become a true point guard, capable of handling the ball under pressure and leading a team. He can get to the basket, does a good job of finishing through contact and can still shoot with range.
Carsen Pracht, 6’0, G, 2019, Bishop Carroll @CarsenPracht
Pracht has brought leadership and a steady hand to the BC backcourt this season, handling the point guard duties, playing tough defense and proving leadership for a Golden Eagles squad that is off to a 10-4 start. Pracht is averaging 9.4 points per game and has knocked down 14 3-pointers.
Jaylen Randle, 6’1, G, 2019, Wichita East @jay_randle15
Randle is a terrific outside shooter who handles the ball well, defends and can get hot from the perimeter quite quickly. Randle is averaging 11.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per game this season and has made 18 3-pointers while shooting 43 percent from behind the arc.
