Braden Belt, 6’0, G, 2019, Andover Central @BradenBelt
A talented guard who can create offense off the bounce, can shoot from the perimeter and is capable of making plays for himself and others. He brings terrific quickness and creativity. Belt is averaging 18.6 points and 4.8 rebounds while shooting 49 percent from the field and made 31 3-pointers in nine games while shooting 45 percent from distance.
Cevin Clark, 5’11, G, 2019, Arkansas City @ClarkCevin
Clark is making a case for himself as the state’s Player of the Year as he has helped lead the Bulldogs to a 10-1 record as he is averaging more than 31 points per game. Clark has three 40-point games this season, is shooting 56 percent from the field and has made 25 3-pointers, shooting 45 percent from behind the arc. Clark is known for his outside shooting, but has emerged as a well-rounded player capable of leading a team at the point, creating offense off the bounce and making plays for himself and others. In addition to averaging more than 31 points, he is adding 5.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game as well.
Andrew Gagnon, 6’0, G, 2019, Andover @A_Gagnon34
Gagnon is coming off a strong season competing for NLHA and has seen the success continue during the high school season as he is averaging 15 points and four rebounds per game and has finished in double figure scoring in all but one game this season. Gagnon is known for his outside shooting, but has put together a well-rounded season showing he is capable of impacting a game in multiple ways.
Nick Hogan, 6’4, F, 2021, Eisenhower @nickhogan23
Hogan has good size for a sophomore at 6’4, 205-pounds, but prefers to do a lot of his damage on the perimeter where he is a terrific 3-point shooter and helps the Tigers spread the floor. He is coming off a strong offseason competing for Kansas MTXE and has seen that success carry over as Hogan is second on Eisenhower in scoring at 12.7 points and has added a team-high 7.5 rebounds per game and has made a team-high 23 3-pointers.
AJ Wilson, 6’2, F, 2019, Arkansas City
Wilson is an underrated forward who brings terrific versatility and athleticism to the court. He can knock down outside shots, runs the floor exceptionally well, can throw down a dunk or block a shot. He is averaging 12.3 points and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 41 percent from beyond the 3-point arc.
