Steele Chapman, 6’1, G, 2020, Campus @Chapman_steele
A talented lead guard who can handle, create for himself and others and brings a combination of is a combination of good size and athleticism and the ability to be a lockdown defender. He is coming off a big offseason competing for Pray N Play, a program that had a lot of success and featured several of the top players in the Wichita area.
Harper Jonas, 6’4, G, 2020, Andover @harperjonas11
Jonas brings a lot of activity to the floor as he is capable of scoring in a variety of ways, runs the floor exceptionally well and can finish around the basket or surprise opponents with blocked shots. He handles it a little on the perimeter, can see over a defense with his size and is able to find open teammates, and can knock down outside shots. He is averaging 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
Thomas King, 6’5, G/F, 2020, Campus @ThomasKing21_
One of the state’s most underrated performers, King is an athletic 6’5 wing player who brings a lot of bounce and skill to the floor. He is a good passer, works hard in the middle of a zone and is capable of finding seams along the baseline to score. He can spot up and knock down a 3, handle the ball a little and surprises opponents with dunks and blocked shots.
Tanner Mans, 6’5, F, 2020, Bishop Carroll @TannerMans_
One of the state’s top perimeter shooters, Mans is coming off a strong offseason competing for Kansas Pray N Play and is capable of impacting a game in multiple ways. He has good size, athleticism and can create his own shot off the bounce or runs off screens and shoot off the catch. He is averaging 9 points on a well-balanced BC team and is shooting 53 percent from the field.
Trey Reid, 6’1, PG, 2020, Maize South @TreyReid23
Reid is putting together a breakout season for a Maize South squad that is off to a 9-3 start to the season. Reid is a quick point guard who handles the ball and plays well on the move. He can score in transition and make shots from deep if he has the look. Reid doesn’t back down if his shot doesn’t fall. He is averaging 17.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game and is shooting 47 percent from the field.
