Max Alexander, 6’0, PG, 2021, McPherson @MaxAlex3_
Alexander is a talented young point guard who has made a name for himself over the past year as he has replaced his older brother Mason as the Bullpups starting point guard. Last spring/summer, Alexander played up an age group and was a big part of the success of Kansas Pray N Play. He is a talented point guard who can handle the ball, find open teammates and gets to the basket. A left hander, Alexander has a smooth perimeter jumper and is a tough defender.
Sterling Chapman, 6’4, G, 2021, Campus @SGC03_
There’s not many guards in the Wichita area with more long term upside than Chapman who brings terrific size for a guard to the floor at 6’4 and has shown the ability to make things happen at both ends of the floor. He can play either guard spot, handles the ball well, creates for others and can knock down the long ball. He has had several terrific performances throughout the season, following a strong offseason.
Jackie Johnson, 5’10, G, 2021, Wichita Southeast
He’s earned a reputation as one of the state’s most talented players in his class and has found a new home at Wichita Southeast after transferring from North. Johnson can score in a variety of ways, whether it’s getting to the basket, pulling up for deep 3-pointers, or scoring the ball in transition. He is difficult for opposing teams to keep out of the lane and has the ability to score in bunches. At last report, Johnson was averaging better than 21 points per game this season.
Jack Johnson, 6’2, G, 2021, Andover
Johnson is coming off a strong freshman season for Andover and has seen that success continue this season as he is averaging 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He is terrific in transition, runs the floor well and makes smart passes, finding open teammates.
Enrique Lankford, 6’1, G, 2021, Bishop Carroll @Enriquehooper34
Lankford has given Bishop Carroll some much needed consistent outside shooting as he leads the Golden Eagles with 20 3-pointers and is shooting 41 percent from behind the arc. Lankford has a rangy frame and a smooth, repeatable shooting stroke from behind the line. He is averaging 9.8 points per game.
