Anton Brookshire 6’1″ Kickapoo (’21) – The stellar young point guard led the Chiefs to the championship of the NIxa Tournament. Brookshire averaged 22.7 points in Kickapoo’s three victories during the tournament. In the championship game, Brookshire broke loose for 33 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in a victory over Willard.
Animu Mohammad 6’5″ Greenwood – The five-star prospect continued his dominant season by leading Greenwood to the championship of the Sparta Tournament. He has been putting up eye-popping numbers throughout the season and he continued that at Sparta with 38 points and 17 rebounds in a 71-61 victory over Fair Grove in the championship game.
Daniel Abreu (Willard ’20) – The versatile combo forward continued his stellar play as a junior by averaging 30 points a game in leading Willard to a runner-up finish in the Willard Tournament. Abreu scored a game-high 39 points in the championship game against tournament champion Kickapoo.
Isaac Haney 6’0″ Dora (’21) – The young bucket-getter was the Most Valuable Player of the Mountain Grove Tournament after leading the Falcons to the championship. He had a game high 34 points and 11 rebounds in an 81-47 victory over Marshfield in the championship game. Haney averaged 30 points a game in the tournament for Dora, which improved to 17-1 on the season.
Trent McBride 6’7″ Eminence (’19) – The Class 1 star led the Redwings to the championship of the BSC Tournament. He had 25 points and 10 rebounds in a 79-70 victory over Alton in the semifinals, then followed up with 34 points and 14 rebounds in a 75-55 victory over Van Buren in the championship game.
Quenton Shelton 6’2″ Lebanon (’20) – The talented combo guard led the Yellowjackets to the championship of the Eldon Tournament. Shelton averaged more than 20 points a game in leading the Yellowjackets to three impressive victories over the weekend to take the championship.
Kyle Farnsworth 6’2″ Fordland (’19) – The smooth shooting guard became the school’s all-time leading scorer in leading Fordland to a third-place finish in the Sparta Tournament. Farnsworth broke the record in a semifinal loss to Greenwood when he scored a season-high 39 points
