This weekend’s featured starter is Torian Daly Jr. of Stewarts Creek. Daly Jr. (pictured above) is ranked #145 in the state. All players in the top 150 have realistic chances to play beyond high school and Torian is no different. Jet-quick combo guard Daly Jr. delivered 15 points in a victory over Smyrna High Friday night.
Mari Stoudemire, Eagleville: Scored 13 points in a win over Moore County.
Thomas Riddle, Smyrna: Scored 13 points in a loss to Stewarts Creek.
Devin Kline, La Vergne: Scored 12 points in a loss to Riverdale.
Bryce Jackson, Stewarts Creek: Scored 11 points in a win over Smyrna.
Memphis Horner, Stewarts Creek: Scored 10 points in a win over Smyrna.
Elijah Cobb, Riverdale: Scored 10 points in a win over La Vergne.
Lamarius Jackson, Oakland: Scored 10 points in a win over Siegel.
Zion Swader, Siegel: Scored 10 points in a loss to Oakland.
Matthew Schneider, Siegel: Scored 10 points in a loss to Oakland.
Connor Richardson surpassed 1,000 career points by helping Jackson Christian with 17 points.
For Haywood High, #39 in Class of 2020 Markeston Douglas scored 24 points in a victory. Bolivar Central got 23 points from #38 ranked JaQuan Lax (2021).
Lexington’s Zac Douglas contributed 24 points in a victory over McNairy.
Westview’s Will Gentry put 17 points on the board in an overtime win over South Gibson.
Columbia Academy senior guard Carson Cary (Lipscomb commit) lead all scorers with 24 points. The Eagles knocked off a very successful McKenzie team, 51-38.
Left-handed Justino Prather scored 26 points and his Chester County Eagles never every last one of them to defeat Adamsville, 77-74.
Dawson Hardwick (West Carroll) pushed through 20 points.
Humboldt senior RJ Abernathy helped his 16-2, 7-0 Vikings win thanks to his 21 points.;
In Madison’s loss to Humboldt, Devin Howard recorded 18 points.
