Chris Roberts (Morgan Park)
Current Ranking: #25
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
Roberts transferred from Lincoln Park to Morgan Park for his senior season. The name of the game for Roberts is speed. He is one of the fastest end to end guards in the state with the ball in his hands. Explosive burst with the rock.
Kejuan Clements (Simeon)
Current Ranking: #27
Travel Team: Team Rose
Clements is one of the senior leaders on an otherwise young Simeon squad this season. What you have to like about Clements is the toughness he brings to the table. Classic Chicago guard that likes to get downhill and to the rim.
Trey Boston (Downers Grove North)
Current Ranking: #47
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
Boston really impressed over the summer with Y&R. He is a microwave type scorer with his ability to heat up in a hurry! Plus shooter from beyond the arc who is more of a scoring combo at this stage.
Artese Stapleton (Kenwood)
Current Ranking: #49
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
Stapleton is a silky smooth lead guard who loves to slither his way through the defense. He is crafty with his ball handling while also being able to change gears quickly. Stapleton is a capable scorer who is best getting buckets in the paint.
Semaj Henderson (Downers Grove North)
Current Ranking: #55
Travel Team: Illinois Heat
This DGN guard is a tough and physical combo guard who can score it. He has proven that over the last couple summers and with his high school team. Broad shoulders allow him to get downhill and is a capable mid-range shooter.
Luke Yoder (Bloomington Central Catholic)
Current Ranking: #59
Travel Team: Illinois Irish
Yoder is a prospect that has been a coveted name on the D2 radar over the last six months. Did an excellent job with the Illinois Irish running the show with his distribution skills while also knocking down jumpers. Better athlete than given credit.
Dashon Enoch (OPRF)
Current Ranking: #64
Travel Team: Made Men
Enoch is a big and physical combo guard that makes an impact on both ends of the floor. Potential to be a lockdown defender. Offensively he gets in the lane and is a streaky shooter from deep.
Demari Grant (Oswego East)
Current Ranking: #65
Travel Team: Chicago Lockdown
Grant is a quick twitched guard who is super athletic. Has a lot of scoring pop especially with his jump shot pulling up off the bounce. Grant is a major weapon with his speed in the open floor.
Traevon Brown (West Aurora)
Current Ranking: #66
Travel Team: Illinois Stars
Brown is an athletic scoring point guard who pushes in transition and has range on his jump shot. The consistency on the jumper is what has elevated his game over the last year.
Marquise Walker (West Aurora)
Current Ranking: #73
Travel Team: Meanstreets
Walker is a thick combo guard that is a volume scorer most of the time at the lead guard spot. Shows flashes as a passer.
