Isaiah Rivera (Geneseo)
Current Ranking: #5
Travel Team: Quad City Elite
Rivera is a prospect that has been consistently toward the top of this wing class from the beginning. Uber skilled three man who has a feathery jumper and a crafty game off the bounce. Excels as a passer as well. Not a freaky athlete, but makes up for it with his all-around game and IQ.
Ramean Hinton (Curie)
Current Ranking: #6
Travel Team: Team Rose
This high-motor junior wing has had his moments for Curie during his junior year. Strong showing on the 16U level over the summer gave him confidence. He has carried that into the season where he attacks with force and has become a more consistent shooter from three. Brings a lot on the boards and intensity defensively.
Keshawn Williams (Bloom)
Current Ranking: #9
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
Williams presents big time athleticism and quick twitched ability on the perimeter. He is a two way player that gets after it on the defensive end. Plays above the rim with explosive finishes, slippery drives, and will block an occasional shot at his size. Decent three point shooter.
Jayden Johnson (Batavia)
Current Ranking: #10
Travel Team: Fundamental U
Johnson continues to be one of the more under recruited players in this class. The 6’4” wing is a crafty wing with a lethal jump shot! He is the kind of guy at the next level you can move without the ball to get open or will be able to space the defense with his knock down shooting. Solid basketball IQ and feel for the game.
Dante Maddox (Bloom)
Current Ranking: #13
Travel Team: Mac Irvin Fire
Maddox is a prolific scoring two guard. He has put on some shows over the last couple years when we have seen him particularly at Pontiac. Deep range on his three point shot although he will force it at times. Game off the bounce has improved as he is getting more comfortable putting his head down and getting to the rack.
Will Wolfe (Aurora Christian)
Current Ranking: #15
Travel Team: Illinois Wolves
Wolfe continues to be one of the most productive players in the 2020 class. The 6’6” small forward is a lights out perimeter shooter. Drills threes off the catch as he moves well without the ball to get open. Also can create his own shot off the bounce scoring on drives shielding the ball away from defenders as well as pulling up from 15-18 feet. He is a fundamentally sound passer.
Christian Shumate (Plainfield East)
Current Ranking: #20
Travel Team: Team RWA
Shumate is a freak show athlete! The 6’5” small forward has unreal bounce. He was an absolute force blocking shots at the PrepHoops Top 250 Camp in the fall. Offensively he plays above the rim with big dunks and slashes to the hoop. Jumper needs to continue to improve to max out his ability.
Jabari Chiphe (Walter Payton)
Current Ranking: #21
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
Chiphe displayed the ability to play both on and off the ball at multiple camps in the fall. Super athletic and has good strength. Pop off the bounce which allows him to attack the rim with force. Excels scoring in transition. Improved as a passer especially in the open floor.
Destin Whitaker (Romeoville)
Current Ranking: #22
Travel Team: Meanstreets
He is starting to emerge into a go to scorer on the perimeter. The 6’5” junior is a plus shooter from three. Consistent balance and form on the shot. Also a quality athlete that can get out and finish above the rim. Wiry strength and bounce off the ground. Ability to check multiple positions defensively.
Sincere Parker (Rockford East)
Current Ranking: #24
Travel Team: Illinois Stars
Parker put his name on the map over the summer with his play for the Illinois Stars. Continued that momentum into his junior campaign. At 6’3” he has a long and projectable frame to where he can continue to grow. Burst with the ball in the open floor. Should grow into a quality shooter at the college level. Lot of upside here.
Jeremiah Williams (St. Laurence)
Current Ranking: #25
Travel Team: Meanstreets
Williams made a big jump in the latest rankings after we saw him over the holidays. He has greatly improved since the summer. Athletic junior small forward with the ability to defend multiple positions, win off the bounce, and is a nice three point shooter.
Davis Walker (Home School)
Current Ranking: #27
Travel Team: Team RWA
Walker is a home schooled prospect so he doesn’t get much buzz during the high school season, but shined in the limited time we saw him on the circuit and did so again at Top 250 back in the fall. Thick bodied two guard that bombs in threes from deep. Quick release on his shot and has consistent accuracy. Almost looks like it is a set shot.
Josh Holmes (De La Salle)
Current Ranking: #30
Travel Team: Young & Reckless
Holmes has been known as a shooter over the last couple years and that was exactly what he did best again in our evals of him during the high school season. Aggressive scorer that has some pop off the bounce as well. Lateral quickness and length play well on the defensive end.
