1/22 – (9-3) Brookfield East @ (10-1) Brookfield Central:
Brookfield East will travel just ten minutes to play Brookfield Central high school, a small drive for a very big conference game. As it currently stands, Brookfield Central and East are second and third, respectively in the Greater Metro standings. A win for Central means they’ll be 11-1 on the season, moving them father away from Germantown on the conference ladder. For East, a loss makes them 5-4 in conference, ultimately pushing them out of contention for a conference title.
1/24 – (11-3) Sussex Hamilton @ (10-1) Brookfield Central:
This games marks Brookfield’s second marquee game in two days. Sussex and Brookfield are one and two, respectively in the Greater Metro conference. Because Sussex won their first matchup, another win would widen the gap between them and the rest of the conference field. On the flip side, a Central win would slash that gap, tying these two teams at the top rung in the conference.
1/25 – (9-4) Neenah @ (11-1) Kimberly:
Neenah has been nipping at the heels of a Kimberly team sitting atop the Fox Valley Conference. Now that’s not to say Kimberly isn’t the definite favorite for the conference title, because the shoes don’t really fit anyone else. But, they are susceptible to an underdog stealing the throne, albeit briefly. Not to leave out, Neenah was an in-and-out half court attempt from Logan Morrow away from beating Kimberly in their first matchup. So, they are more than capable of beating Kimberly the second time around, which would stir the pot of conference contenders.
1/25 – (10-4) Kaukauna @ (7-7) Oshkosh West:
This matchup is prospect-laden, with West’s Karter Thomas pitted against Jacob Newhouse, Keaton Ferris, and Donovan Ivory. A Kaukauna win means they’re safe within the conference’s top-tier, but a loss puts them behind Kimberly, Neenah, and Appleton West in the standings.
