Cambridge came out shooting hot from deep. They jumped out to an early 17-11 lead midway through the opening quarter and would end up going 5-of-11 from deep and shot 40 percent from the field. They led 17-14 after one quarter but wouldn’t end up losing 68-50 to Tea Area.
After that the BlueJackets had trouble hitting shots from anywhere on the court, shooting 28 percent from the field and only hitting 2-of-10 shots from deep in the second quarter.
Tea Area opened the second quarter on fire shooting 60 percent in the quarter alone hitting 4-of-8 from deep. They traded baskets early in the quarter but last trailed 24-23 with 4:18 in the second before going on a 26-11 run to have a 38-28 halftime lead.
