The Titans outplayed the Bulldogs in every facet of the game, outscoring them in every quarter. Madison led by 2 with 7:54 left in the first quarter but went cold from the field from there on out shooting 29 percent overall.

Justin Hohn came out in the first quarter on fire and played aggressive defense. He scored nine first-quarter points en route to 17 points, nine assists and five boards.
For Tea Area, Noah Freidel led all scorers with 22 points and six boards.
Madison was led by Cody Brown with 10 points and five boards.
The Titans shot 51 percent from the field and 33 percent from deep. The Bulldogs shot 19 percent on 4-of-21 from deep.

TURNING POINT: The Titans were in charge for most of the game, but Hohn’s intensity on both sides of the ball really set the tone for the rest of the game.
STAT OF THE GAME: The Titans big three came up big for Tea Area. Kade Stearns, Hohn and Freidel (53) had combined more points than the whole Madison team (43).

Tea Area plays Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Pentagon against Cambridge-Isanti.
